Anganwadi Support Materials Distribution
Essential Items Distributed to Support Anganwadi Centres
Chithode, Erode District
As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare and child development, Chithode Social Service Projects Trust organized a distribution program to support the day-to-day operations of Anganwadi centres in and around Chithode.
Based on the specific needs identified at the ground level, essential items were distributed to six Anganwadi centres. The materials provided included floor mats, 12-liter pressure cookers, and serving trays, which play a crucial role in ensuring hygienic meal preparation, safe serving practices, and a comfortable environment for children attending the centres.
These items will support Anganwadi staff in carrying out nutrition programs more efficiently and help create a better learning and care space for young children. The initiative also contributes to strengthening early childhood care and development activities at the grassroots level.
Members of Chithode Social Service Projects Trust, Anganwadi workers, and local community representatives were present during the distribution. The Anganwadi staff expressed their appreciation for the timely support and highlighted the positive impact it would have on their daily operations.
Chithode Social Service Projects Trust continues to focus on initiatives that promote child welfare, nutrition, education, and community development. The Trust remains committed to extending similar support to Anganwadi centres, government schools, and public institutions in the future.
